Michelle Beloskur presents microplastics project

Michelle Beloskur presented our microplastics project at the 2019 annual Fall Convention of the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts

 

On October 29, 2019 Michelle Beloskur, on behalf of the Smart Management of Microplastic in the Great Lakes Project Team, shared project goals and progress at the annual Fall Convention of the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts. Representatives from the state's 75 Conservation Districts and partnering agencies (MDNR, EGLE, MDARD, USDA-NRCS) attend this convention each year to share information and improve conservation leadership across Michigan. There were approximately 30 attendees at the Microplastic session. Each attendee received a project fact sheet. There was a robust discussion following the presentation and very positive feedback on the project.
